2. You may find this post useful 【2014.06.10】词库制作中可能有用的软件、技术整理 {a collection of useful software and techniques in making mdx/mdd } https://pdawiki.com/forum/thread-11016-1-1.html
I'll sort out an English post when I have a little spare time.
You already got plenty of experience of making dsl & mdx/mdd. All in all, there are two steps.
First, we need to get the data of the dictionaries.
>>> Cracking and extracting the data from CD / DVD dictionary software
>>>>>Tools: Python, Java or any programming language
>>> Crawling or downloading the data from on-line dictionary
>>>>>Tools: Python, wget, Teleport Pro etc.
>>> Converting from other formats, like dsl/lsd, bgl, EPWING, ld2, mobi etc.
>>> OCR and proofreading manually
Second, Text-Editing, which means a lot of search and replace operations.
There is no elixir in this step. Different dictionaries need different operations, and different people use different software.
You use EditPad Pro, Excel with the help of C# and VBA.
I prefer UltraEdit, EditPlus.
Others may use EmEditor, Notepad++ or even write special batch files or scripts. But those scripts are not all-purpose or universal, and they can only be used on special dictionaries.
To make dictionary more beautiful is not a matter of tools, but a matter of tastes. You've got a good taste, at least better than me.{:5_227:}
The </div> tag is missing in the dictionaries you posted today.{:10_248:}
