1. Is the CSS3 standard supported by Mdict because I tried to use nth-child() and noticed that it was not implemented on Mdict viewer.
2. Does Mdict viewer support all CSS styles because I noticed not all styles are displayed properly.
3. Is there a possibility for LaTex to be added to the Mdict format?

Does Mdict viewer support all CSS styles because I noticed not all styles are displayed properly.

It's because Mdict uses WebBrowser control as it's HTML viewer.
Web browser control by default runs in compatibility mode unless you set the feature browser emulation registry key. The fact that IE9 is able to render CSS3 correctly and browser control is not seems to suggest browser control is not running in IE9 standards mode.

Most of the CSS selectors newly defined in CSS2 or higher version are not fully supported by MDict. The class attribute selector is a typical example. FYI.

MDict PC version dosen't modify the css content of the dictionary, it simply wrap those contents with header/footers (can be found in MDict folder) and display it with WebBrowser control. The css supporting level depends on your IE version.

But MDict mobile version (Android/IOS) using css isolation, which will modify the content of original css and may cause problem. Dictionary makers better use cross brower css so their output can be used in both PC and mobile.

It seems that the following css is poorly supported in PC MDict, but normally works in iOS Mdict:

span.cool[interesting=yes] {color: red}

My IE version is 11.0.11

PS: I kind of expect Markdown supported in GoldenDict.

Conclusion:
Mdict PC uses WebBrowser(an IE-kernel control), with poor performance by default, regardless your IE version.(Anyway, you can config it via Windows register)
Mdict IOS/Android uses WebViewer(a webkit-kernel control), performance good and support CSS3+HTML5, but...as Rayman said, there are many bugs...(e.g. which will modify the content of original css and may cause problem)
