Dear Grand Ricci user,
As you might have noticed, various constraints have prevented us from upgrading the digital Grand Ricci for Windows and MacOS as we had intended, and the software has not seen any upgrade since its launch in 2010.
In the past three years, digital technologies and usage have substantially evolved, the ever growing role of the Internet matched only by the impressive rise of mobile devices.
For these reasons, the Association Ricci has decided to open the Digital Grand Ricci to new horizons. The sale of the DVD is therefore suspended (as of July 1st 2013) and the Grand Ricci is to reappear under the dual form of a mobile application and a web app.
As of today, the Grand Ricci is available on iOS (iPhone, iPad) and Android devices (smartphones and tablets) as a module of the well known (free) Pleco Dictionary that can be bought as an in-app add-on. This “Grand Ricci” module includes the entire content of the Dictionary, but it cannot display yet the very old glyphs (the jiaguwen) which will be added in an upcoming (free) upgrade.

Once the Pleco engine has been installed, select the “add-ons” tab and buy the Grand Ricci (US$ 59.95). The dictionary is automatically downloaded and can be used immediately through the Pleco App. (A number of other free and paid dictionaries can also be obtained in the same manner for use in Pleco).
The Grand Ricci will also soon be available on the Chinese Portal currently under development by Brill, the well known Leiden (The Netherlands) publishing house. This web application will allow for full online access from any connected device including desktops. An announcement will be made in due course on our website.
The technical support for the current DVD application will be upheld six months after the sale of the DVD is stopped, that is until December 31, 2013. However all license owners will be provided with an activation credit that will allow unimpeded use of their software free of activation problems for the normal lifespan of the supported Operating Systems.

新华网北京８月２９日电（记者隋笑飞）《利氏汉法辞典》单卷本２９日在京首发，该书由商务印书馆和法国利氏辞典推展协会合作出版。《利氏汉法辞典》单卷本以七卷本《利氏汉法辞典》为蓝本，收词１１万条，７００多万字。
据介绍，七卷本《利氏汉法辞典》由中法等国数百位学者历经半个多世纪编撰而成，共收录汉字１３５００个，词组３３００００个，涵盖了包括天文、化学、生物、金融、法律、哲学、艺术、文学等在内的２００多个学科。商务印书馆此次出版的《利氏汉法辞典》单卷本不但涉及上述所有学科，还增加了６０００条反映现代汉语变化的新条目。尤其值得一提的是，商务印书馆还将词典的单字和多字条目全部按照汉语拼音顺序进行了重新排序。
除现代汉语的用法外，《利氏汉法辞典》单卷本还标注了各个汉字在古代汉语中的用法，探索了它们从古至今在意义上的嬗变。同时，《利氏汉法辞典》单卷本收词古雅，以常用为主，尽力保留俗语、歇后语、谚语、成语，着力反映中国传统文化。
除正文外，该辞书还包含了１７项附录，占全书总页数十分之一，共２２６页，介绍了中国古代的宇宙观，易经、佛教、古代天文学、中医学、古代数学、古代历法、青铜器、书法、中国古代行政制度等。 |
