  • 5 minutes to convert bgl to text.
  • 20 minutes to change multi headwords (as xx|xxx|xxx|) to mdict format as @@@LINK
  • 1 more hours to change "Kingsoft Phonetic Plain" font face to Unicode.

O4: major reform or reorganization
O8: a situation in which a lot of changes are made to a company, an organization, etc. in order to improve the way in which it works

比如:teach somebody to do something,如果是以前的版本,就像第 7 版的 [VN to inf],你必须知道 inf 是指不定式才行。 I'll teach a stone wall English.

    如果数据更完整就值得做了。

    以现有版本试举一例;
    OALD4 by itarcy Total entries:37231
    OALD4 by sunsmile23 Total entries:20904
    数据相差悬殊。
    sunsmile这版很多单词都查不到,如headache,headword

    谢谢。源文档有很多重复的,这个很容易处理。我不用重新排版,因原来的格式很好。

    不知道这个第四版是不是比楼主刚完成的第八版更好。一般而言,新版会更好一些吧,而且排版上看,第八版已经极其优秀了。
    我觉得以楼主之才,可以把STFU兄的朗文系列更新一下。STFU兄制作的词库,单独使用那是无与伦比的好。但是我们一般会和其他词库一起用goldendict查词,这样由于STFU的词库不能直接查短语,如果要想查一下短语,就必须先查相关词,然后点击词头下面的分类进入另一个页面,这是就和其他词库分开了,不太方便。楼主能不能把这个词典的Phrases、collocations之类安排在同一页面上?
    楼主贡献良多,过分的要求楼主不要在意。

    OALD4很经典,中文用语更简洁、雅致、准确,词汇搭配用法标记清晰,希望能够做出一个经典MDX版本。
    OALD4中文解释更全面,更着眼于中文读者。
    例如,headword,
    OALD4:
word forming a heading, eg the first word, in heavy type, of a dictionary entry

    OALD9:
a word that forms a heading in a dictionary, under which its meaning is explained
