intestine 是可数名词
但每个人只有2个intestine,
the large intestine
the small intestine
所以
Your intestineS are the tubes in your body through which food passes when it has left your stomach.
Your mouth, stomach, and intestineS are called your digestive system.
这里之所以用复数，就是因为大小肠共称intestineS
bacteria that live in the intestineS 意思当然就是大小肠上的细菌。 |
