It can be good to attract/draw/bring tourists/visitors but tourist numbers shot up / increased dramatically in the past few years in some places. The cost of overcrowding needs to be balanced against its benefits. In other words, it is necessary for the government to balance economic development and social issues. And it can be considered an environmentally friendly solution to promote/develop ecotourism to the benefit of the tourism industry.
