偶然发现的这个系列，一共三本：
1>Easier English Basic Dictionary（Over 10,000 Meanings Clearly Explained）
2>Easier English Intermediate Dictionary（0ver 28,000 Terms Clearly Defined）
3>Easier English Student Dictionary（Over 32,000 Terms Clearly Defined）

特点嘛，Preface里面写道：
1>　Ｔo quickly check the meaning of a word in a dictionary
2>　Each word is individually defined, and no words, not even adverbs, are listed without a definition
3>　The meaning of the main senses of each word is given clearly and simply, using a limited and easily understood vocabulary

举两个例子：
baptism:
noun
1. a religious ceremony where someone, usually a baby, is welcomed into the Christian church and given a Christian name after being sprinkled with holy water
• All the family came together for the baptism.
Synonym christening
2. baptism of fire the first time someone has faced a difficult situation
• Giving a speech to the sales conference was her baptism of fire as sales manager

acess:
noun
1. a way of getting to a place
• The concert hall has access for wheelchairs.
• At present there is no access to the site.
2. to have (easy) access to to be able to get to a place or obtain something
• The company has access to substantial funds.
verb to get information from a computer
• She tried to access the address list.

大致感觉：生涩的词一看也懂，熟悉的词也有耐心看完。这可能代表一部分的受众吧。
