over my dead body
informal used to emphasize that one completely opposes something and would do anything to prevent it from happening
she moves into our home over my dead body.
over ˌmy dead ˈbody
(informal) used to show you are strongly opposed to sth
She moves into our home over my dead body.
over one's dead body
Over my dead ~ you will!.
over sb.'s dead body
You can have this over my dead body.
over my dead body informal used to emphasize that one opposes something and would do anything to prevent it from happening.〈非正式〉[用以强调反对或阻止某事发生的决心] 除非我死,休想,没门儿
最后补一个idioms[thefreedictionary.com]:
Over my dead body!
Inf. Fig. a defiant phrase indicating the strength of one's opposition to something. (A joking response is "That can be arranged.") Sally: Alice says she'll join the circus no matter what anybody says. Father: over my dead body! Sally: Now, now. You know how she is. Bill: I think I'll rent out our spare bedroom. Sue: over my dead body! Bill (smiling): That can be arranged.
