A new problem faces us. / Defeat faces us unless we act at once. / Can you think of some typical problems that confront Chinese learning English? 你能设想中国人学英语所遇到的某些典型问题吗?/ These hazards confront the miners every day.
Researchers still face a difficult issue. / I face that problem every day. / We face heavy increases next year. / The new democracies face tough challenges. / As university campuses become increasingly multi-ethnic, they offer a glimpse of the conflicts society will face tomorrow.
Face your enemy boldly. / He accused the government of refusing to face facts about the economy.
As teachers we are now faced with a dilemma. / I was confronted with the task of designing and building the new system. / When I am confronted by a microphone, my mind goes completely blank. / Police were confronted by a group of demonstrators.
