比较牛津高阶英英第九版和第十版释义:因何而delirious?

本人英语不行,这里只是发表偶然观察所得,毕竟在论坛潜水偷师一段日子了。
牛高第九版和第十版都说delirium一般为疾病所致,
可是看看delirious和deliriously的释义,在第十版用high temperature代替fever,
总不可能白天天气热就不认人,晚上天气热就 mumbled in delirium all night吧?
我还没说电脑发热,电脑主人becames delirious呢!
fever可不是难词,如果为了更浅白而改,这“高温”改得模糊了,也在三个相关词条中显得不统一。
