Best Historical Dictionary of English Slang

Update:
A friend of mine just fixed the mdx for a problem that on GoldenDict flag pictures don't appear.
Hide/Show quotations works on clicking "Quotations" button. Thanks to trivialstuff brother.

I have updated the Baidu and google drive folders...

Description:

Green’s Dictionary of Slang is the largest historical dictionary of English slang. Written by Jonathon Green over 17 years from 1993, it reached the printed page in 2010 in a three-volume set containing nearly 100,000 entries supported by over 400,000 citations from c. ad 1000 to the present day. The main focus of the dictionary is the coverage of over 500 years of slang from c. 1500 onwards.

I tried to make the layout as beautiful as possible it was for me; but since I don't know javascript, there are few problems:
Known Issues:
The timeline graph for the quotations does not work.
Show/Hide option for quotations is not available. Quotations will be always shown. Fixed!
A few jump links may not work, I'm not sure of that, the filenames didn't have headword titles. I've tested many jump links, all worked for me.
I couldn't merge the similar headwords into one, I tried but that created some problems.

hope some experts will fix these problems soon...
Anyone is allowed to modify and publish it online!

To make Show/Hide for quotations work, use this JS file (

showhide js.zip (28.95 KB, 下载次数: 33) https://pastebin.com/pHMjcA3p) instead and add the following code into CSS.

I have tried merging the entries and fixing the wrong format. For merged entries, Clicking on the title will lead to the next title.
The wrong format comes from the wrong label at the end of a entry, which should be </article></main> instead of <article><main>.
Besides, the '@@@LINK'-type entry are placed after the full-content entry of the same word.

There seems to be no actual data in the timeline section, so I'm afraid not...

I'd like to point it out that the English apostrophe ' is all replaced by the Chinese single quotation ’. so when you look up "bob's your uncle", the dictionary app returns no result. You have to use "bob’s your uncle" instead.
Pls replace all Chinese single quotation ’ back toEnglish apostrophe '.

One of the best slang dictionaries you can find on this whole planet.

I'd prefer that the timeline graph didn't work, cuz all that does is creating confusion. Listing quotations in tables and sorting them by time and country is just a better solution.

the typesetting was compact actually. I increased the line-height because sometimes, some text overflow on other texts.... you can decrease the line-height in the css but the risk is yours...

and about timeline chart/graph: I cannot handle that part. as brother trivialstuff said, "there is no actual data". so sorry, for now atleast.
