为什么你要纠结would呢?unreal Conditional中我们用would是因为我们要表达imaginary situation的句子,需要would。这个用would的从句是在想象中发生的。
语法总说if were to....,然后那么你用would,那么是因为if were to 已经把你置入到一个想象中框架,至于你用不用would取决个人。教科书和国外都是这样写的,但是这样好理解啊。
文章中的意思无非就是Trump不太可能会输(这里作者假想他不会输,哦如果输了这该多可怕), there will be ....(开始作者的预测)
发言者的时态和语态总是在变化,有时需要结合背景和作者的心情、意图等等,你只能揣测作者的语气,作者的意思。但你从语法上纠结,这完全是make no sense.
