我希望从语义概念上去理解.为什么接可数或者不可数名词.

围绕词典所阐述的概念来讲吧，我觉得辞典上讲解得很好，只是我理解不到位。

以下是我对这些词的个人理解.有什么理解不到位的请详细讲解和补充下.
Number: 指个体 individual的集合体，或者说由许多个个体组合而成的群体，翻译为“数目”比较好理解和区分.【简而言之就是论个数的counting.. 1,2,3,4,5等个数.这也就解释了为什么number只接可数名词】

quantity：简而言之就是以各种单位去计量的measurement. 如千克，升，加仑等等单位. 或者一杯两杯的水。【这也就解释了为什么quantity可接可数和不可数名词】

amount. 恩...对该词没有很好的理解，也无法区分开来.  对辞典的这一段话，理解的不是很清楚，请详细讲解下。
  can be broken down into separate units or parts that can be measured, counted。

volume:完全没概念..也请详细讲解下。
  This work has grown in volume recently.這項工作的量最近增加了。
Huge volumes of park visitors come through every weekend.每到周末公园的客流量都很大。

amount

volume
space occupied, as measured in three dimensions; bulk, size, or dimensions expressed in cubic units:

an amount; quantity:
      the volume of business at a store for a particular period.
      Volumes of smoke poured from the chimneys of the factory.

amount 和volume都有quantity的意思。

WOWWOW 兄，感覺您的問題不全然是英文的問題，這應該比較屬於物質特性定義的問題，數字有計數值和計量值，計數值就像是一輛車兩輛車，一個人，兩個人......可以用數的不需用量具去量就能得出的數字，而計量值則是需透過量具，尺，杯子，公升，公分..這類的計量單位....都是計量值，且這些計量值的數字具可以無限的精密下去也就是可以有小數點後無限制的數字，此也就所謂的continuous 的性質，不間斷的的特性相對的計數值特性的事物則是可數的名詞，而計量值特性的事物是數不可數的名詞
溫度，濕度，緯度.......都是計量值特性，然而事物是屬計數值或計量值需依你想要描述的特性而定
計數值經過計算有了比例特性那應該是屬於計量值Amount， Volume 應該都是計量值特性
多少錢.....一般用Amount ,錢....很抽像，但應該是不可數名詞
Volume.....容積是量完長寬高後才能算出來的估計值....不可數名詞，有估計算出來的數值的大都是計量值
會有小數點特性的也都是計量值，Amount, volume 是拿來描述什麼樣的名詞特性而定義可數或不可數Visters都複數了！可想而知是可數的
