网上淘到一个2019年出的，当代引喻暗喻辞典，非常适合ESL/EFL学习，提升阅读写作水平
The purpose of this dictionary and thesaurus of contemporary figurative language and metaphor is to identify all the words and phrases used figuratively and metaphorically in everyday contemporary English ，...... to provide a reference for English as a Second Language (ESL) and English as a Foreign Language (EFL) teachers.
辞典里面有引喻暗喻的实例，比如“lip”，
lips are sealed = 守口如瓶
pay lip service = 口惠实不至
用法非常地道，这本辞典值得通读，绝对提升文采。

除了 The dictionary of collocations搭配字典 和 The thesaurus 辞典，
内容还包括常见暗喻metaphors、搭配Collocation、绰号Epithets、委婉语Euphemisms、典故Allusions等等
里面有一章提到 Old and new clichés ，同义词的"潮流"变化
